Technically, it's legal to go after ANY man, married or not. There is no "law" that prevents you from pursuing an engaged or married man.

However, due to morals, people will rail against you if he is married or engaged, and you do that.

Personally, wouldn't recommend pursuing an engaged or married man.

He's made his decision whom he wants to marry and you should allow him and his future wife deal with their relationship on their own.

Don't do it.
If he does pick you then be ready to get the same treatment near your wedding date.

It isn't illegal, but morally it is really bad. It is almost as bad as trying to split up a married couple.

It's not all about the law. There are ethical rules. Societies have norms. You have to act accordingly. Think about it, would you like it if the same was done to you?
