1. Men don't want to be tied down just yet and that's just fine. Everyone doesn't want to be tied down by commitment and responsibilities.
2. Women are picky as heck.
3. Some men are actually legitimately scared to get married for reasons other than commitment. Marriage is legal and gets federal super quick. So if something were to happen to get the government involved, they are more inclined to listen to the lady than the guy.
4. Because they can.
5. Marriage is usually the last thing on our minds because we're too busy living our best lives.

Probably the guys who are keeping the marriage rate from getting into the teens percentage.
If you really look close at what the majority of these "older" men who get married look like what they do for work, hobbies and if you can their overall general health and you'll will find they always had disabilities that denied or greatly diminished their chances of sex their whole lives and the only thing they have/that they had to work years for to get is money. Typically most of the men in the group are over 34 marry mostly younger women by a few years but not the norm of close to ten years younger for men who marry earlier. \
So in conclusion these are the men who never got the kind of sex (some none) and in the amounts desirable men their age had when they were younger and it took them till they were much older to get the money to attract women and get a decent amount of sex. But they will never know the feeling of having lots/great/often sex as only a young man can. They are the bottom of the barrel aged leftovers.

Honestly feel like it depends on how you were raised, how the economy looks, if you found the right person, or if you got pregnant that one was a big factor back then.

Everyone seems to miss the when your ready but being married and having a family helps you grow.

From what I have heard guys most of the time are not ready and women are tired of bad relationships and sacrificing thier youth for a possible failed marriage. A lot of women are now expressing thier sexuality like men and do not want to be attached.

A lot of men are not as confident in themselves and media kinda pushes sex as thier main importance as well as being the economy how it is it leaves them dependent on others which also makes them feel less of themselves.

You look at back then to now you can see the big difference in maturity and influences.
