I grew up bouncing between poor and working class at best and so I never really cared who I ended up with. My mom and I had an amazing life, same with me and my dad. Money never made it into my assessment of potential partners. Do I love them, do they love me, do I love their family, do we get along well, could we be best friends. There was a lot that I thought about when dating, and then agreeing to marry, my partner, Money never came up, and it didn't need to. Even through tight times we are happy, we are united, we have each other and we both agree that's what matters.

We are solidly working class so we do have some stability, we're not poor or in poverty, so I do have the privilege of saying all that. But we did hold onto each other in our most difficult times. It would be nice to have more, to be able to afford a house and really nice things, but we're happy, deeply and truly and madly in love, and dearest best friends. That's enough.

Lool. I can't marry an old guy to whom i am not physicallly attracted. Majority of rich guys seem to me old. Anyway they only get golddiggers who cheat on them with hot guys since no hot young girl seriously marry an old man who could be his dad. The maturity level also ain't the same. rich men are hard to come by and are really not easily accessible unless you are a woman who belongs to the rich upper class. Rich men tend to marry rich men. Poor women tend to marry poor men.

generally rich people tend to marry other rich people. people tend to marry within their social classes, similar educational levels.

That’s accurate. Socioeconomic status when choosing a partner tends to prevail with women more so than men. A lot of men are offended by this and think that it’s shallow, but women have an innate desire to seek out a strong provider. I don’t see much wrong with it assuming the motive doesn’t broaden too far past that. I personally don’t care what a woman makes. That’s not to say I’m just holier than thou, or making an attempt to virtue signal. I just value other traits and attributes a lot more so because I already know I can provide.

if you ever had any life experience, you will know that people tend to marry those of their own kind. Same race, similar educational background, similar financial background /socio economic status, similar culture. Sure exceptions do exist but those are the minority

Only in holly wood movies you see rich men marrying poor women, but in real life, this type of stuff rarely ever happens.

luxury and wealth are not everything. money can still be earned, but I think it's much more difficult to find the right person, who loves us, who cares about us. so I prefer to marry someone who is poor but cares and loves me sincerely
