I would say yes but that doesn´t need to be a contradiction to me because often times the woman in a man´s life that is in his life is the woman he loves most.
For me though being single the only women I have in my life for a longer time are those I either cherish or admire for something. I would say I love them in some way.

It holds some truth. Men and women each marry when they are ready to marry. That's most often with someone they really love, though a past love may have been more intense.
