Yeah that’s exactly how I wanted!!
he was poor and short and fat and ugly when I met him.
After we got married I really wanted him to make lots of money and work his six pack etc…didn’t work. Soooo disappointed!! Lol
On a serious note. One thing seem true, men want their wife to be fun, easy going like when they were dating. Get dressed up and go out have fun.
On there other hand, the wife now is more focusing on the new baby and not as much as on the husband or going out on date nights.
the woman wish the man can change (Mature to help with the baby) (the man wish the woman to stay the same like before - why is she becoming so stress out/bitchy?)
these little neglect can cause friction between them.
Your haters are gone?
They are still around maybe just on vacation lol
Things are going to change when you’re with someone… whether it’s a new relationship, or you’ve been together for years. Life changes, people change, circumstances can change, it’s when you face/adapt to those changes “together” and change/grow together..
I would disagree women DATE men who they think they can change, Of course we do change but we don’t changes because of nagging (constructive criticism is useful). But we change to make you happy with keeping ourselves. The little thing sure (don’t leave your cloths on the floor) when it comes to smoking weed/cigarettes getting in trouble with the guys no your not changing us marry the guy you share values with date the fun guys and have fun but that early 20s
Astute and accurate observation, however, Growth Is. Whether growth be it negative or positive, people change. Hopefully we grow together rather than apart.

Hey at least the women are hopeful lol. Though maybe stupidly hopeful?
And as far as change goes, it's BORING if someone doesn't change. Maybe they were just loving the IDEAL or the LOOKS and YOUTH of person, not really the person itself!
Change is the very essence of time and life.
I cannot speak for other but for me personally, I’m marrying my partner because he’s what I find completes me. He likes the same things, we have similar goals and aspirations, family values. At the same time complete opposites. I’m quiet, he’s not.
I don’t think it’s necessarily because I wanna change him but rather because I enjoy who he is.
Yes and no. Women tend to think they need to change a man, while men more often like a woman as she is and hopes she doesn't change in a way for the worse, or hope her heart doesn't change about him. I think that’s the difference there.
Both men and women change when they get married. That’s when they need to back each other up to the different challenges they will face. Men could change due to financial and being a parent so a woman needs to completely understand why he changed and try to fix that issue not fix him as if he is the problem. Us women will change when there is a fair point also. Such as stress, being a mom, working, a husband not paying attention to us,…….. etc.
point is no one will change without any reason and to fix that you need to understand your partner and start working from there.
If I thought my husband needed to change, I would have never married him.
Slight adjustment coach -- women marry thinking THEY can change the man to be more suited to their own particular preferences. I have no idea why men marry women except to have free sex or they want a family. LOL
To be honest I've seen men and women do both.
The amount of times I've seen on reddit where a couple divorces cause the dude wanted to kids and still married a woman who clearly says she didn't want kids because he thought she'd change her mind. On the contrary I've read an account where a woman thought her husband would "get over" his autism and sensory issues when they have a child.
So it seems common that a lot of people in general tend to assume others will change.
Agree with the men side of this question. But a woman who Marty's a guy hoping he will change is just asking for trouble.
Isn't the whole point to grow together? 😊
I don't know is it for you? For some people live in seasons.
That is the common saying.
Totally agree!
Dissssagree.
