Any advice and tips for newly wed couple?

Im getting married in two days and excited and can't wait but want to know some advice and tips for actually being married.

i'm not married yet but i have already see what's marriage like on others.. so..
1. communicate is important to keep commitment
2. once you married then you know the new risks will come and you have to deal with it
3. talk about wanna have kid or not, if yes then at least make sure you both find a way how you both still keep close each other, bcs having kid, it means you ready spare your time, and your life (i mean like other activities, find time to be alone, etc)
4. pls always helping each other (for example: kid = make together, manage together)
5. to avoid boredom with your partner bcs you will met each other everyday, you need "time to be alone" such as doing your hobbies, or hangout with your friends, etc
6. and pls for both, lower your ego to keep "your own little family" still alive
7. want it or not: have a pet if you need more friend

Well, I've never been married, so I don't have too much to tell you (other than congratulations!), but I CAN say that one pitfall to avoid falling into is to confuse the importance of the marriage with the importance of the wedding. The latter is just a big fancy party; it's the former that really matters.

And if it's the latter that really, really excites you (nothing wrong with that), you can always throw ANOTHER big fancy party.

Most people I've known either get divorced or seem bored/unhappy in marriage. But uh... communicate, try not to worry about the little things that annoy you about each other, and just my own observation from other peeps but having kids too early seems like a risky move for both the parents and more importantly the kid.

For starters Ignore the idiot saying be open minded in the bedroom, he's probably pressurising his wife to do stuff she refuses to, will a lot of men infatuated with porn these days there's a lot of unhappy situations arising. Not that he probably eberblokksvatbit, but keep him away from porn, show appreciation for each others efforts, talk often & openly and be truthful.
Always have plenty of food in the house!
