A few things that come to mind for BOTH of you...

    1. Forgiveness - goes a LONG way toward keeping the peace. Overlook small crap and keep the focus on each other.

    2. Compromise - from both of you. There are things you need to have your way and stuff he needs too, but working together is key.

    3. Your OWN space - each of you have an area that's yours. It doesn't need to be big, but whatever you say about it, is YOUR own. The other person does NOT control that area, no matter what (except for health and cleanliness reasons).

    4. Work together - whether it's cleaning the house, vacuuming, dishes, shopping, washing clothes, mowing the yard, etc...

    5. No running home to mommy - you're a married couple now, behave like that. Your mommy or his, has zero to say about how you two live together. If you have an argument (and I PROMISE, you will!), you both work it out with each other. That's where that compromise and forgiveness stuff comes in.

    6. Finally but not the least, LOVE each other - in EVERYTHING you do. The bedroom, the making of meals, making the bed, cleaning the bathroom, going shopping, EVERYTHING! Love is FAR more action, than feeling. Hold hands, kiss each other, give hugs, tell each other you love them - even in an argument. You may not "feel" it then, but let the other one know they're loved.

I was married for 36 years then she passed away after a long 7 year illnesses and i was her cargiver. Marriage great and marriage sucks. I hope you 2 will go for marriages great. It takes both to love oneself, each other, and your children. Its forgiveness abd trust and when things go so wrong then know Gods in control. God bless you both

Best advice I can give is don't have kids. I have witnessed too many good marriages destroyed because the wife got baby fever. They feel like they have to have kids or they will have wasted their lives. Far from true. Too many allow kids to wreck their marriages because they are too busy trying to mold mini me's.

Not really the problem is she got married so young. I have seen childless marriage ending in divorce because they got married so young. At least waited till 30

    First off, Congratulations!
Second, when things get heated (arguments), remember that both of you can walk away until you can discuss the issue without emotions.
Third, and most importantly, try to remember everyday how you felt when you said your vows.

#1. Both people should quit drinking alcohol, doing drugs and partying. The marriage will last about 10 years longer that way.
#2. Just throw all the dirty dishes in the garbage and by paper plates etc. no point in fighting over dishes everyday.
#3. Get rid of your porn and sex toys, focus on satisfying each other.
    #4. NO SILENT TREATMENT, communicate!
    #5. COMPROMISE!!
#6. Separate bank accounts, but split the bills 50/50 unless you're a houswife.
#7. Order your own food at the drivethru, don't say you're not hungry and then eat his.
#8. I would avoid pets, just because they add extra stress and mess.
    #9. Try not to argue.
#10. Sleep in the same bed every night and make a conscious effort to make time for each other and not drift apart.

Yep, my advice is that you should have moved in with him at least a year before getting engaged. Now you two have zero experience sharing a common home, running a household and keeping a budget together, you're barely in the begining of a mature adult relationship! I don't get it, are you people that set on joining the statistics of first year divorces?

Ofc, because women who do the smart educated thing and move in with their partner before getting engaged, are whores, right? Don't pronect your primitive stupidity on others, you brainwashed moron.

Okay, but why the fuck would you marry someone you have never lived with? That is just asking for problems.

Just remember every day that you love him for a reason. Shit will surprise you, never stop talking with him and when you get angry, remember that you chose to love him. I do that every day.
