We are barely making it and he bought our 5 year old gucci slides and they didn't fit we were headed to a mall about one hour away to return them and now he wants to buy designer trunks for him. I think this is absolutely ridiculous and stupid he says i'm trying to control him because i gave him some cash for father's day and that's how he wants to spend it am i being controlling and unreasonable? the slides were over 300 and the trunks are probably about that or more. Grow your food

Raise you own meat

Go fishing and hunt for meat

Get rid of the internet

Use a clothes line to dry clothes

Pay for stuff in cash, don't use credit

Never buy a new car and always buy a car over 20 years old. One time payment no monthly payments

well while i do agree that it is ridiculous to buy a 5 year old expensive clothing that they'll grow out of in a year or so, you did give him that money to spend on what he wants to spend it on 🤷‍♀️

making 100k annually together is actually pretty good. i think you two need to have a talk about budgeting
