LOOK... Listen... If you don't know if you should marry someone within a year... You don't know what you're doing. Sadly that is how most people do it. If you can move in with the person that will tell you even quicker.

Look all you are trying to figure out is #1 what does that person want... NOT what they think they can get. What do they want. Life long vision. Not what they think they want because they care about what others think. What do THEY WANT.

#2 you are aiming to find out their paradigms.

A paradigm is a multitude of habits, thought habits, emotional habits, notions about the world, notions about yourself. <---- THAT RIGHT THERE is what you're marrying initially; the paradigm. If you don't know what makes up a good partner for the type of relationship you want... YOU want. Then you're flipping a coin basically.

It's really not rocket science. The issue is people don't even understand themselves so there is no way they can understand someone else.

The length of my application process doesn't shorten just because I'm ready to fill the position. We don't fire people here at this company. It's like a government job; you're in it for life!
So, I'm sorry, but you still have to jump through the hoops. No exceptions and no shortcuts. We'll just be short-staffed on Sugar and Spice until we find the right candidate.
