now I have no issue with homosexuals forming a civil union or being together, my issue if with the definition, If all marriage is a legal contract so that you can get a tax benefit there marriage is just another Financial social contract that can be changed at anytime, Your basically using the idea of a civil union so that someone can take care of you or you get a tax break which would be the would marriage means nothing just like the left can’t provide a definition of the word women that’s not a Circular definition and unlimitedly making the word meaningless, the same goes for the word marriage, if marriage isn’t the conjoint of a man and a women for purposes of raising children, then it’s either meaningless or a Ponzi scheme to get a break on your taxes.,

So a man and a woman who don’t have a kid are in an “illegitimate” marriage? Infertile people? If a couple’s kid dies, is their marriage void until they pop another one out? Should the tax breaks be removed so only “true love” marriage is promoted? Would all the gay marriages that have happened be canceled? Would any tax break money those people got have to somehow be returned?

As far as tax goes we can 1 get rid of the tax benefits for marriage in all cases, frankly love has nothing to do with marriage I wouldn’t be against going back to a arranged marriages when you’re younger so you can’t have children, As far as returning money no because that would have taken place before a law would be going into affect. As far as gays being in a loving relationship just call it a civil union rather then marriage.
