Should we baptize our Baptist baby girl?

Im Baptist but me and my husband want the infant baptize our daughter. Do we do it or just wait till she's older?

Baptism is between the person and God. An infant doesn't have the capacity to understand what baptism means or even know what's happening. When the child is older, fully understands what baptism symbolizes, and decides on their own is when she should be baptized. Never before.

That isn't Baptist thinking. I support paedobaptism personally, but why bother with it unless you believe in it?
