If you are currently not married, is being married something you would like someday? Why/Why Not?

No, I have no interest in being married. Nor have I ever considered marriage, even when I was younger. Why?

Seems unnecessary and overrated. Imagine spending thousands on a dress, cake, and fancy ceremony for one day that lasts a few minutes... just for a piece of paper. And that's assuming the marriage lasts! Not sure why, but weddings never appealed to me; I don't even like attending other people's weddings as terrible as that sounds.

If I ever find a guy I like, I will be happy just having a long term relationship with him. Basically all the perks and ideals of a marriage, sans the title and wedding. And if for some reason things don't work out between us, guess what? No messy divorce! Just part ways and go on with both our lives.

absolutely not. There is no benefit to me as a rich successful man to ever get married. Sure I will be dating, but I will not get the state involved and get screwed over with a likely divorce. Marriage is falling out of fashion fast these days and for good reason. Only poor men marry because they dont have much to lose. Only problem is that women do not marry poor men lmao

I used to, but not anymore, no.

My last relationship lasted a significant amount of time, and ended badly, so I just don't know if I have it in me to risk going through that again.

Well I don't know because me and my partner have talked about possibly getting married like in the very far future but obviously nothing is set in stone yet besides I've never really thought about getting married before mostly because my mom has never been married and my dad's past marriages have both ended in divorce

Yes. I want to be devoted to someone, to be able to talk and listen to what they have to say, I want to be able to cook, and clean for that person when they get home from work. I would like for us to do fun activities together, and also have children teach them what they need to know when they grow up.
