Is it ok to get married under these circumstances?

I always wanted to fall in love and have a family but I also feel a desperate need to move away from my overbearing parents and be independent. I may or may not earn enough on my current job as a nurse’s aide to achieve that. Marriage is my other option. I’m at an age where most people moved out years ago. There’s a man who likes me who lives far away from my family and who works full time who I’ve come to genuinely feel some interest in. Should I marry him if the opportunity arises?

No, I wouldn’t get married just to get away from my parents. I’d set some goals, make more money, then be more independent.

Socialize at the hospital, join some clubs, groups, classes, and meet people.
