Do guys joke about marriage and wedding often?

His family and my family wither call me his fiancé and or wife.

Last night he randomly asked what should the color theme should we have at our wedding.

I was in complete shock but tried my best to be non chalant about it? Even though... constant back flips

This is impossible to really answer without knowing more about the nature of the relationship between you two. Is this your boyfriend? if so how long? A really good friend?

If it's your boyfriend. Then no. That's not a joke. At least not completely. He's telling you that he's thinking about marriage with you (at some point anyway). No boyfriend is going to say ANYTHING about a wedding unseriously, to a woman in her 30's. Everybody understands that's no situation to joke about that. He meant it.

If this is your best friend since kindergarden, then he's joking.

Oh, then there was nothing about it that was a joke. He legitimately is thinking about marriage, and is feeling-you-out about it. But he's not joking. Not unless you've told him specifically that you never want to get married or something. Otherwise, talking about marriage in your 30's with your girlfriend and the mother of your child... that shits deadly serious.

Again, never had a man like this b4. he's that first good guy after being shat on. I'm still working on me and healing. I have about 30 years of trauma I'm working through.
