My fiancée is better with money than I am so, if she agrees to it, I want her to be in charge of our finances. We plan for her to be a stay at home wife when we have children (her idea not mine).

My dad always said, that my grandfather always said: The smartest thing he ever did was to let his wife handle the finances and budget. For the same reason as you. She was better with money.
