How common is it for a wife to keep her husband home for family time?

This seems so common. A wife gets all controlling and doesn't let her husband go out and hang with his friends. I don't get how you call this happiness, let alone how they put up with this. Be a man and put your foot down.

I don't require men to give up their friends and hobbies, but no one wants to marry me.

Does he let her go out to hang with her friends and leave him at home with the kids or does he think only husbands are allowed to do that?

Yeah he let's her go out with her friends and he stays home

That's weird. I don't know if this is a hypothetical scenario or what. But if he doesn't complain about her having free time to go out with her friends, I don't know why she would have a problem with him doing the same thing.
Does she feel like he goes out too much and ignores the family. I don't know.
Something is wrong. In a healthy marriage, it should be easy to sit down, talk about it, understand each others perceptions, and come to an equitable solution.

He complains about it. He's like you know when she goes out I don't say anything, then when he hangs with me she wants to go with. I told him to go with her when she hangs with her friends, maybe she'll get the idea lol
