Should we get eloped?

My fiancé and I have been planning our October wedding for several months now and it’s been extremely stressful. Even though we’re planning to have a rather small wedding, it’s been expensive and time consuming (even with the help of my parents). At this point, we’re wondering if it would be better to just elope?

Why don’t you get married with just you and your best friend and your fiancé and his best friend get a preacher and have a ceremony outside of a stressful wedding. How did the party have the ceremony for your parents and those who are not as close to you as your best friends and so if something goes wrong, you know you had a perfectly good wedding beforehand before the big dramatic ceremony

Yeah, that was the first episode ever watched, so is the only episode of stuck with me and wants to a few times at my friends house, but beyond that never got into it myself on my own

That’s the only way I’d consider getting married. Weddings are stressful for the couple, a huge imposition on everyone else and I really don’t see the point.
I’d really only do it if we just signed the papers and told everyone after
