Probably because if the lack of impulse control it indicates and the grater chance of contracting an STD

LGBT doesn't involve others like polyamory does.

I think it's about how most people want exclusivity and therefore polyamory goes against that.

I've been in a relationship with someone who was polyamorous and I'm never going neat that ever again. Granted, he was manipulative, kept things from me and married the other while also dating me.
But anyway.

Lots of people struggle handling watching someone they have feelings for, involved with someone else.

Well... As long as the LGBTQ do not go public, they don't really hurt anyone besides possibly themselves and each other.

On the other hand, infidelity (also known as polyamoury by those who fail or do not wish to grasp the key point of it) basically disintegrates any form of mutual trust in the society at the most basic level of the family itself, leading to a degradation of the society's unity and therefore resilience against both internal and external threats.
