I had girlfriends from the time I was 16, but had no interest in getting married or having kids. In fact, I was never that interested in raising kids.

I started thinking about finding a life partner when I was around 34. I had lived a lot of life by then. Plus I was financially stable and thought I was finally mature enough mentally and emotionally to be a good husband. So I was ready to start a new chapter in my life.

After a couple more girlfriends, I met my future wife when I was 40 and we got married two years later. We've been happily married now for almost 26 years, had a LOT of fun and built a great life together.
