How old were your parents when they got married?

Question

And how long has the marriage been? Of course only tell me if you're comfortable with sharing. I was just thinking about marriage and stuff, then I thought about my parents and how long they've known each other. I'm just kinda curious is all.

My parents have been married for 30 years I believe. My dad's in his early 70s and my mom's 56... I think she is at least. I'm terrible with remembering ages, and it is a huge age gap, I know. :P

They were 29 if I recall correctly. And they have been married for 1 year more than I have lived. Almost. My mom was pregnant with me when they struck the deal. So I'm guessing I was an big enough incentive for them to do it.

I remember once talking to my mom when she was drunk and she revealed that if she weren't to have me, at some point her and my dad would have went their separate ways since they weren't compatible much (they were just 3 months in to the relationship when my dad proposed, which he did in the kitchen god damn it). So yea it's a daunting thought to know that you wouldn't have existed like that.

But their marriage is actually pretty decent. Sure they argue from time to time, are pretty cynical towards each other, and have had perhaps two points where it seemed like it would end, they stay together none the less.

I think my dad 45 and my mom was 39. It was his second marriage, her first. They were together for like 15 years before that though. All in all, they've been a couple for 50+ years. How they haven't murdered one another in cold blood is beyond me, haha.

my biological parents were married 10 years; my mom said that she was 27 when she had me, and that they were married for 4 years before that, so that would make her 23 at the time (my biological father 24).

they split up when i was 8 and have both been remarried for 15-20 years each.

my mom is 56 and my dad is 54
my biological father is 57 and my stepmother is 53

My parents never got married, and my grandparent made sure of that lol. But they were engaged. I think they knew each other since high school. My mom had me around 22 and I think my dad was 20 at the time. But yea they remained together until I was like 2 years old.

My parents married at 20 & 22 after dating for 2 years. This month they will be celebrating 34 years married.
My Husband and I also married at 20 & 22 after dating for 4 years and we will be celebrating 9 years married this year.

My mom was 27 and my dad was 34 when they got married.  I was born when my mom was 29. She was 37 when she had my triplet siblings.  They're 52 and 59 now.  I think I got my math right, anyway hahaha
