Yes they were happily married until my father died. They never really argued much. They got along well, worked in the same office, spent most of their free time together, etc.

My parents got married when my mother got pregnant with me. That marriage was a big mistake and they separated when I was around 5 and divorced shortly after.

Yes my parents were married when they had me and my older siblings, they divorced when I was 6 years old. But at least we got to see, and visit our dad very often.
