Do most brides wear a veil, or hairpiece?

My cousin wore a flower crown, my friend wore a veil and a beautiful white dress. I saw that some women wear hair clips or pins. I tend to think women over 25 look better with their hair down as our faces harden as we get closer to reaching menopause. I’m 35 and will be one month shy of my 38th birthday when I get married. I want to look my best and embellishments, even flowers, tend to make me look overdone. Is it ok to just have my hair loose and flowing?

Veil is your choice when you look for a weddingdress and I dont think most brides wear one.
Hairpiece is actually more common here. Still completly your choice but there are some really beautiful options. If you think its too much, than easy as that dont wear one. Its YOUR day so make the best out of it.

it doesn't quite matter in the end, does it? isn't it normal to just choose whichever you want? i don't understand.

also, no one's face is "hardening" "getting close to menopause"... this is purely up to genes. i've seen 25 years olds that look like whatever you are describing. take care of yourself and your skin and don't blame it on age.

It's whatever you want. Veils seem to be slowly going out of style, but these days it's up to personal preference. I wore a veil, the same one that my mom wore on her wedding.

It's really all a matter of personal choice and perhaps your budget.

For my wedding I actually wore a veil with a 10' train.

Hahaha Well, It all depends on the bride and no matter what age, What fits her frame of her face the best for her.
