Not really. Using the word "expectations" in the context of marriage is a blasphemy itself. Everything should be arranged by whoever is in charge, the parents or the couple itself, and there should be no hidden, undefined "expectations". Honestly, it would be the best if the concept of marriage was reverted to the traditional, purely Catholic (or religious in general) marriage.
