After being disencouraged by marriage from friends and other women, I see no benefit to getting married. She has no idea about feminism and this gender war stuff. I lost interest in dating a decade ago and now marriage - all I want to do is work and further out my education. She was shocked and upset by it , but I don't see the benefits. Advice !

Advice on what exactly? You’re an adult. Sometimes, we will disappoint our loved ones with our choices. It’s hard, but we have to be okay with them not being okay with our decisions. That doesn’t mean you change your decision. If you don’t want to get married, don’t get married! 😊

You don't need advice. There are plenty of people who don't want to be married. If you find a partner you may find there is are tax advantage to being married.
