If it comes to a life and death situation, would you rather save your child or your spouse?

Child for sure. The spouse might not be able to overcome the trauma of losing a child and would have wanted you to save the kid first. I would aim for the child and then see how best I can save the spouse.

I’ll say spouse because yes it’s going to hurt but if you don’t have your spouse how are you going to have another baby? I met couple who lost babies or had miscarriages and they try again after some time when they heal and then they have one and are happy so I’ll choose my spouse but that’s my pov

You save the spouse, you can always have more children later.

But ideally you want to save both, even at cost to yourself.

I don’t have kids yet but I would save them first. When you’re a parent, that’s your #1 priority and role to keep them safe.
