On an average, after how many years do people decide to marry a person in your culture?

Arranged marriages are popular in my country, which is why most people get married within a few months of meeting a person. I feel like this is too risky.
I am curious to know about other cultures.

Well I'm American and I want to choose who are married. That's a very, very important decision. And I want to make that decision for myself. I don't want somebody else making that decision for me. Cause nobody knows me better than I know me! Just out of curiosity where are you from

Religious people marry fast, secular people can wait for years or not marry at all, easy to do as secular people have sex without marriage, promiscuous lifestyle has it's own risks.

Here it’s easily 2-5 years of being together or even living together before marriage. And a sizable percentage just lives together as an unmarried couple.
