Why wouldn't I? That said, just because I don't call my partner doesn't indicate anything about how much I care etc. So, I wouldn't either be very happy if my not calling when I was away was assigned to how much I cared, especially if I had my mobile with me and she could call me any time she missed me.

So I'd say, sure I wouldn't not, but then it doesn't guarentee I'd find the time depending on how busy everything was and I'd very much rely on my partners judgement to call me if she missed me or needed my company and couldn't wait.

Not really. I usually give them space as they might be busy and rather wait for them to get in touch with me whenever is convenient for them.

Not unless I needed to communicate something I felt was necessary. Space is good for a relationship.
