If you are talking with someone to get into a relationship with but you are busy, would you still make time to call or text them?

Yes, I would. This is especially true of texts. It only takes less than a minute to type out a text and respond real quick or at the very least say something like "Hey, I'm really busy right now, but I will have some time later or tomorrow or..." It isn't that hard.

Unfortunately, my now spouse was guilty of this. He is just not big into text and never has been. He returns phone calls no problem. But... texts are often times more convenient.

I would make sure that I did so the other person didn't think I was ghosting them or there was something wrong. People tend to overthink things, especially early in the relationship. They start thinking "Oh, no! Did I do something wrong?" "Does he/she not have fun on our date" etc.

Just out of common courtesy, I return texts or at least let people know that I am busy and will as soon as I get the chance. Doesn't take that much time to be honest.

I would try to text them quickly at least to say that I saw their call or text and I’m busy at the moment but I will call back right after I’m done to make them know that I care.

Most definitely i would make time to stop and call and to let them know that I am busy as hell beforehand. I want her to know how much I care for her. I am trying to demonstrate her Value to me.

So, yeah, no matter what was going on if I wanted her for mine I would find and make the time to let her know she is priority.

Yes. I've made time for people I was genuinely and strongly interested regardless of how busy I was.
