Who are the MUST HAVES when it comes to those that need to be in attendance at your wedding?

I always said my top 5 were my mom, grandparents, sister and friend/cousin Kourt. Its definitely narrowed down over the years. It used to be those 5 plus my 2 fave uncles (but one recently passed away), my 2 other fave cousins Bre and Dem (who are always flakey so its fck them at this point), and my now former friends Tan, Ti, Aye, Pat, Jo, Brit, Clay, Tee, Am, Law, and Dare. So yea that used to be my top 21. My “friends” all betrayed me in some way and I’m really not feeling my fam as much these days. So if I ever married, I’d just invite Kourt, her husband and a bunch of strangers to sit in the crowd and fillup the chairs to witness my beautiful wedding 😂 My fam always tried to force me to invite my dad and his fam as well as extended fam who I dislike as well as my old teachers and my parents coworkers. Fck all that! I’m not paying to feed mfs that I wouldn’t even piss on if they were on fire! And I also ain't settling for no damn courthouse wedding lol #FeelFreeToList

Its crazy cause I don’t really want anyone there. But I still want this HUGE 4 tier wedding cake. Maybe i can just give slices away to the homeless and randoms in passing 😂 “Step right up. Take a seat, witness our wedding, and get a free slice of cake” 🤣😭

I had all of my close friends. 2 of them I've known since I was 9 (they are brothers) and one i met through my sister in law. The guy that married us I met through my first job and we are still good friends. My wife had her sister in law, our friend that is the sister of the two brothers and my sister in law.

We had about 75 guests. Got married on a buddies farm, then had the reception at a lake house. We had BBQ and a beer pong tournament after we ate.

You are young , you can have whatever you want , just dont waste money that can be far better utilised invested for yield and growth.
Enjoy the day , but enjoy it with realistic expectations , amount spent does not collate to enjoyment of day , take the money and buy a solid ETF.

Still too much is my view , thats a house deposit or a great ETF returning 2k plus Pa..
But I'm a Warren Buffet guy , and I just love compounding , nothing beats it..
Plus , I know from experience that amount spent does not relate to enjoyment of the day , which is obviously what its all about..
All this stuff does not end as your greatest memory..
And , on percentage averages its far from good , just assume a nice inexpensive function , and dont succumb to the bullshit , that wedding sales people will try to force upon you.

I can do the numbers on a compounding invested 20 k.. So can you , believe me , it all matters.

Honestly I'm fine just having a pastor, the girl and going to the courthouse then we can save all the money that'd be spent for the wedding and use it towards something else lol like a honey moon.

Since we could always have the ceremony anytime and actually just take out time planning it out but without missing out on actually being married.

I don’t have to have filled seats but the ceremony and reception are a big deal to me. I've always wanted my dream wedding and i can make that happen with or without the people. The food is what usually runs up the pricing. I would be so mad with a courthouse wedding but all my former friends did that

Meh I want it to be a fun loving experimental event of a wedding. There's a whole play depticting our love story told in 3 acts and in-between during intermission are the traditional dances. I want it to be theatrical and captivating. An experience for adults and people there to really celebrate and remember love a little different. There will be a kid's area so parents can just be with their spouse and enjoy a whole experience together.

I just do not like any wedding videos I see anymore. There's so much missing to me. I mostly don't know who the people are. Just kinda feels like an expensive Christmas get together.

My auntscand uncles from my mom's side, my cousins, my sister, and sny assorted family therein. My sister is getting married, she should bring her fiancée/husband and any kids if thry have them. My oldest cousin has a daughter and might be with a boyfriend.
