Who should you invite to your wedding? Can it be old friends, acquaintances, teachers, etc?

We invited lots of people. Zero expectation for them to attend but made sure they knew they held a special place in our minds.

We invited school friends (middle school, high school, and college), hundreds of family, teachers and professors, bosses and colleagues, and some people at our church. So, yeah, invite lots.

why the fuck would your teacher want to attend your wedding? that's weird. acquaintances, same thing. old friends, i'm sure they're over you. family and close friends is the only obvious recommendation.

Preferably just parents, siblings, and grandparents with very few best friends or favorite aunts/uncles/cousins
