I believe the chances of a bad marriage are higher if you have a long courtship because a person who respects you will not want marital privileges from you before you marry them. Some people think they need time to learn about the person they are dating but I believe you can detect red flags in a bad person in the first conversation if you know what traits are red flags when you talk to somebody. In the last 20 years I have only been wrong once in my life when a first impression turned out to be wrong.

I don't think time matters. It's a matter of being with the right person for you.
