Halloween is coming and should you explore those dark depths with them or keep your light off and ignore it till Christmas comes out in a week or two?

Avoid it

No costumes or decorations for us

Always going to try something new

Going to try her favorite horror roleplay together

No candy for us or the kids.

Depends on, whether is the darkness Evil in nature. Or just Ghosts from their past, a scar that makes them who they are.

For example - A girl with daddy issues and DDLG fetish has a scar. But a pedophile Girl or a serial rapist women is Evil.

Absolutely embrace that. It's a significant part of their personality if they are really into it. Ignoring it will make them feel ignored or disregarded

That sounds sweet and agree even if it's not something you enjoy. Can't ignore a side of them that they struggle with and want to share.

I wouldn't expect you need to pretend to go along with it, just that you should acknowledge and support it. Make sure they feel seen, even if you don't engage too much with it.

Maybe latter when I have more time. Any advice to a husband whose wife is dark but also scared of it?
We can both get pretty out there especially together but sometimes it scares her.

She wanted to do a Dexter roleplay or a criminal minds one. But she had a nightmare and scared herself out of it last year.

We do and we have our wild moments. Rather share those in messages and private but our costumes are less public more for just us!

Maybe it's her trying to be more of a mom? She wants to be bluey this year. No kids yet and not trying yet.

Maybe something bad happened or she just pauses and worries of we play to far.

Last year I was a demon from supernatural possessing her to enjoy her husband how ever she wanted! Before she ended up tied and begging for more till. I killed or exhausted her and she took a nap.
