I thought of this question as my fingers were having a heart-to-heat chat with a feisty 200-degree broccoli bag.

Sometimes. It's better to compliment one another
What do you mean?
Ahh, I see. So would it be a turn off if he wasn't willing to help you through your fears because he's too busy being scared of it too?
What scope of danger are we talking about?
Ahh okay. Ngl if I had a partner with the same views, it would probably motivate me to be more brave.
and if both?
It would be a bit of a turn off because I'd like him to protect me from those things or be encouraging and not panicking when I'm panicking you know
Maybe just a little - somebody has to get the Broccolli
🤣🤣🤣
It’s not a turn off, you can be afraid together.

If we are both afraid of the same things, we can either avoid them, or work together to overcome them. It's our choice, together, not a turnoff at all.
Maybe not- then they won't try to get you to overcome that fear or phobia!
No. In that case we'd never have to pressure the other in to doing something the other is afraid of. With the exception of spiders. He's in charge of getting rid of those, I don't carenhow scared of them he is
No why should it? ! My fears are usually rational so I would hope that my partner would have the same fears. Otherwise, I'd think HIM weird lol.
When I found out my crush was also afraid of pigeons like me I thought we were soulmates 😂
It can but hey we are going to laugh, looking back at how we managed to defeat the house spider together.
No there just might be a good reason for everyone to be afraid of the same thing!
Not really because about the only thing that I'm afraid of is God. And maybe cooties
no, i don't see why it would be. fear bonding is nice lol
well then who else is gonna kill that spider? Not me!!
Not really sure that it matters too much really.
No. If anything, it brings more understanding between you both. "You're afraid of clowns? What a dork!" Wouldn't be easy to say if both are.
No, if my partner has the same fear as me it makes them more relatable
If those fears include items that hinder the development of a relationship, then probably yes.
If my wife is afraid of getting kicked in the balls as much as I am, that would be a major turnoff.
Only if she's afraid of Murder Hornets and Land Sharks.
Sounds like you need to stay away from that microwave…
Don’t think so. Though it’s nice my wife doesn’t have what I do, and can snap me back to reality.
As is life it turns out I'm not afraid of anything. Well besides a woman I'm in a relationship with.
no not at all it just shows that it is a fear
Probably good in some ways, more things incommon
No because that would connect us even more.
It's nice to relate to someone
Like anal or penises?
I can relate. Except it's not a fear for me. More like disgust.
Never thought about it
not a turnoff
Not necessarily.
maybe I don't know
of course not
