I think that there are a lot of us they have been through a lot of things and somehow we put a block up right in front of love because we don't want to be hurt again but I'm not afraid of it I look for it I enjoy it I want it I need it because I need to give it in the same depth as I feel it. The thing about love is there so many different levels of love until you can experience each one of them and understand unconditional love is the best no matter who it is and when two people can feel that way together it is the most beautiful feeling in the world people don't understand that we all are intertwined somehow and if we could get everybody on this planet to have unconditional love there is nothing that we could not take on it would be the most beautiful planet ever

I am afraid of love because im afriad of being vulnerable to a woman and for her to see me at my weakest. I was brought up by the notion of man is supposed to be back bone and mr fix it. can't show emotions like crying ( i know now this is incorrect). Even til this day i have a hard time showing my emotions. For some reason i think being weak and vulnerable will give the other person power over you sort to speak.

If i fewl myself falling in love i create a small argument and i stop talking to her. can't miss something i never had.

I am afraid to love a man who doesn't love me back in the way that I love him. I. e. he wouldn't respect me, be loyal to me, attentive to me etc.

If I meet a man who shows me that I can trust him and that he really loves me and has good intentions only, I am going to love him as much as I can.

I have become like that since 26 but to a woman I gave my all but it wasn't good enough (I won't go into the details but I was very romantic then) I still have all my love albums but don't listen to them anyone as I gave up.

I gave my love, care and attention instead to two beautiful funny Labradors they were known as the laughing labs their life expectancy they say is 12-13 years mine lived to 16 and 17 my boy was still mentally with it to the end but it was his back legs I used to give them cod liver oil to help with their joints from mid age, I would put him in the wheelbarrow and take him to the park or field so he could have a run but at the end he looked sad he couldn't run, my girl it was her mind, broke my heart. They were my fur babies.

No not with the right person. I take it slow, I will have sex but emotionally I keep things slow and steady if the person is right for you going slow won't bother them because you have time to get and known eachother

When there is a connection, after a few dates, I go exclusive, and don't date any others. Sometimes, it has been AMAZING, together for months, and other times, she isn't into it, and just disappears.
For the good ones, it is ALWAYS worth it! Months of closeness, cuddling, and great dates!! Those few times, though, all ended well, but things happen in life, and we go our own ways. I never regret any of the times I jumped in, both feet, feeling what I felt!

In the past I was because the number of times I would get hurt from it and rejected was constant so eventually, I felt this hatred towards love. But today now I am not and I'm willing to love to the fullest extent. I understand that not everyone will love you and not everyone is meant to love you, there are times you might not love someone. But it seems like that's the game we are playing, to see who we can and can't love. We are only here for a finite amount of time, in the coming future we will be forgotten and be irrelevant, so love as much as you can.

Yes I am/was before I met my boyfriend. I don’t trust men in general because I’ve been hurt so many times, but my boyfriend showed me different. It just takes the right person to show you that they’re not going to hurt you or let you down without any warning.

Yeah I am. I want love but I don't know if there's anyone out there I would trust my heart too. I was married and went through a horrible divorce because the person that I was a writer for betrayed me with somebody else. So if she would do that, the person who I trusted more than anyone else in the world than anyone would do it. So even though I want love I have trust issues.

Yes, but in a very specific way. I'm not scared of love fading or of being left or a breakup. I know those happen and I'm okay with that risk. I'm afraid of trusting the wrong person and being abused again. I think if my trust was broken that way a second time, I'd never trust anyone again, and I don't want to feel unable to trust

I'm a real kind of guy... I have unique experiences that make it difficult to find a real match on any of the important levels... I'm a bit "far" down the road for some and yet "too young" for others somehow. Some people need a lot more experience and wisdom before I'll acknowledge them as a potential match, but because of my young face some people think me young and childish before ever getting to know my circumstances...

Hmm for a long time I was not even close to ready now I'm getting close and I really want to take more risks. My development in this area has been really slow and weird. Right now my life is very unsettled and I don't like that at all it's hard for me to focus and function well. So I think it'll take another year but I really want to do this! :) I pobably still have a bunch of fears but I'm going as fast as I can which is still really slow :D I'm doing my best though! :)

Am I afraid of love right now absolutely not. Have I been for you before definitely. Love is mysterious you don't know if you're going to get hurt or not you're afraid to take that step, find yourself in a situation or place where you may never have known which makes it scary.

To love someone is to take the risk that they won't love you back but as they say, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take (which isn't technically true since an attempt is required to result in a miss but whatever, I felt like being cliché). So no. I'm curious and bold. Not afraid.

Love is great when you're young. It's messy and dangerous when you grow old. Whatever goes up comes down. It's just action reaction. Have fun with while young. It's wonderful then...

I love my family more. I'm like as attached as an Italian family's mama's boy (my family and i are not italian). But i feel we are very close despite they annoy me at times and i'm almost 30 still living at home. I prefer to keep living at home, supporting my aging parents. It also means cheaper rent than today's day and age of pricing for homes.

There is that saying that says:
It's better to love and lost than to never love at all.

I loved and losing it it's hurting. But be sure that fear of love ( or anything for that matter) is will hurt you more.

    Remember,

Are you afraid to love? Why or why not?
