What would anyone do in this situation if he is the husband?

So, the story is a true story I want to ask about and if you feel West is having bad case of women then you will have no idea.

So, this is from my maternal grandfather's house.
So, he married my grandma after his first wife died. He had 4 sons and 1 daughter my mom with his new wife and 1 daughter from his first wife.
So, my grandfather had 3 brothers and he did everything for all of them as they were orphans and he raised them all up.
He bought land and gave it them them and he did a lot for all of them from childhood till the day he died.
His eldest son was a talented engineer and his (grandfather's brother kept insisting) that he marry his daughter and honey coated everything. Finally they married and that's when my grandfather realized he made the most painful mistake in his life.
Not only was his son lost to him but grandfather's brother used to taunt and ridicule that his daughter is living miserable life because of them.

By biblical standard. My grandfather didn't listen to his wife while doing this marriage which was again cousin marriage and also his own son used to say what could he have done, "divorce her"
They are married and super wealthy albeit I ain't questioning how they got their wealth uhmm uhmm.
What would anyone do in this situation if he is the husband?
