What do you think about 2 separate accounts?

My husband and I each have our own bank accounts don't feel the need to have one together I just transfer him money however much I feel like and he pays the bills and my money buys groceries and is our play money

Couples can handle money any way that works for them. My wife and I have a few joint accounts. We have a big savings account, a checking account and I have a separate savings account that I have my side hustle checks deposited in it. i also have a CD. We both have access to all these accounts.

what do i think? i think that's smart and logical. a lot of people don't do that, and i think it's weird to share an account. in case something were to happen. i also find it controlling to have a joint account. so, you're doing alright.

I mean if it works for you that's great! I think the main reason people create a joint account is for convince.
