Would you take care of child outside of your marriage?

Ladies, if you were married and your husband stepped outside the marriage and created a child would you support his decision to not support his child financially if you were to stay with him? Or would you encourage him to support his kid whether you stayed or not?

Guys, If you were married and created a child outside your marriage would you take care of the child financially? Or would you neglect your duties as a father to appease your spouse?

I would care for any baby as long as I am able to. I love babies and toddlers, they are defenseless and need of care, I hate when I come across these situations where children are mistreated by the stepfather/stepmother or even their own parents or babysitters.. it’s awful I stay stead for days in rather not know about these cases. If I can care for a child where he is not being taken care of I will, but that’s not to say I want my significant other go make a baby with someone else. I hope that never happens to me.

also people should care for anyone because someone else says so, it should be because you want to. Otherwise I think those are the times when tragedy happens, because it’s not their own will and feel obliged to do something they don’t want to do so anything can make them snap and maybe harm or mistreat the gild or even elderly people.

my aunt married a man who cheated on her. They are both old in their late 60’s. He cheated on her with a 19 year old Mexican girl and got her pregnant.

the man fought for the little girl and won the case but she doesn’t have papers so she has to stay in Mexico.

it’s so sad to me because she’s neither with the mother nor with the father

my aunt talks about her with hate because of the cheating. I understand her anger but the child had zero fault. I get so mad and sad when she talks about her. I try to make her understand that the little girl needs care and love and could be in danger. Plus even if she is not in danger it is so sad to grow up without a mom or a father figure, if he man was not going to keep her why in the world did he fight to take her away from the mother. I don’t even know this child but I feel for her. I hope she is okay. And someone giving her some motherly care:(

If I stepped out of my marriage and made a child with another girl , I wouldn’t be going back to my wife period and she shouldn’t even consider taking me back period. But overall it’s my child so I would definitely help financially support my child and make sure I am a part of My child’s life

I would encourage him to take care of his child financially because it's just an innocent child who needs a father, but I would for sure not stay with him no matter if he took care of the child or not, but if he was willing to give up on his baby for me that would upset me even more because it says a lot about what kind of person he is

This should never have happened. It's wrong that this baby was ever created. "stepping out on your marriage" is some bullshit colloquialism to cover up something fucking terrible. "outside of your marriage" confused me at first. That's a very generous way to put it. It's bullshit.

That being said. He needs to take financial responsibility for his child. Period.
