By having an amazing supporting husband.
We communicate well to plan our schedules and meal plans. We divide and conquer. When off from work, we plan our vacation. we also go on date nights.

Our cleaning people and lawnmowers help a lot. So we have time to do other things.
Our 2 teens were trained to do chores at a young age.
they were taught to leave a place better than they found it. they make their beds daily and cook and clean at this point.
    moms job is to guide.
I dont do much for the kids.

I'm a mom to two daughters. I feel like I have it all figured out, but sometimes I feel like I could be doing more.

You just do. You love everyone. It's like setting extra chairs at the dinner table... only it takes 20-30 years for the younger guests to leave...

If the man is a good man who is actively helping to raise the kids, especially if both parents work, then finding balance shouldn't be difficult.

    If he's inatentive,

How do you balance being a mom and a wife?

you are going to start feeling overwhelmed and possibly start feeling that he is more like an extra child to take care of. That will lead to it turning you into a "single married mother". You will be more and more exhausted and less drive and that will upset him because you are not pleasing him enough or doing things to his standards.

Which leads to... Do you want to continue in this stressful scenario if you would be better off just doing it by yourself.

I left the useless, unappreciative, overgrown baby and is much better off and more relaxed by myself.

We now have shared custody. Every second week we swap. At the beginning he begged for me back bc it's too much work for him to work and raise a child and apologized for expecting that from me and having to do all the cleaning and cooking to his standards on top of also working. Now he has to do it himself and learned his lesson. Just like a child.

But again, if he is supportive, then you should be good with balancing things. Being in a marriage and making a child both require two people. So both need to jump in.

Mother comes first. Too many codependent women ignoring their kids and choosing their husbands sides

It’s a delicate balance, that’s for sure. Especially working full time too

@momtotwo Why do you feel like you are not balancing it? Did someone say something to you? If yes, who? And what did they say?

you don't. that's why most marriage fail or get neglected. that's why sex is usually on the back burner and someone gets neglected.
