Sure you can. However, the trend is for people to start breeding as soon as they are married and they start pushing out crotch goblins left and right. Not sure why the magic number is 3. What happens is the parents start focusing on raising their spawn to be clones of them. They lose that spark that united them in the first place. Obviously, I am pro-child free but I also know that people are weak and they have millions of years of evolution dictating that the are less of a person if that do not spawn.

I can't. But I can encourage and support my fiancée as she tries to be a good mother to her son, and I can apply the Golden Rule and try to be a good husband to her.

I'm not a wife nor a mother, but my advice would be this: Keep your priorities straight. I've seen many women who place things higher than their relationships, and in doing so, suffer horribly interpersonally.

Focusing on affection more than accomplishment is a key factor. A clean house, for example, means so much less than a happy child (though cleanliness is still valuable).

Similarly, keeping a strong relationship with your husband by engaging in frequent one-on-one activities (including sex) can help form a strong foundation for children.

Be very organized. Delegate tasks between you and your partner. Have a special day for your partner during the week/weekend where you go on a date and have fun together without the kids. Never stop being affectionate with your partner even though you probably don't have as much sex as before. Open communication. Take care of yourself too.
