"Happy" is a moving target. People usually choose to be happy or unhappy. Emotions are fickle. You can't run your entire life, it's trajectory just based on how you feel day to day. Feelings ALWAYS change. People need to focus on themselves and choosing to be happy. Content more than happy.

Without marriage families break down. Too many childless people. Birth rates plummeting, the kids there are, are in single homes situations.

    Societies are built on families.

It’s possible to be happy in life, but it’s impossible to be happy in marriage. Married couples outside are liars playing the role of being happy, but when they go home, they compromise on many things. To sum up, it’s possible to be happy as a single person.

Yes I believe so. You can find a way to be happy enough on your own and we only have one life and so I personally would only marry for the right reasons. I think marriage should add to your happiness and personal fulfillment.

Your marriage is a part of your life, but it is not the entirety of your life. Your happiness can come from various sources.

I guess someone could be unhappy in one part of life but happy overall if other things outweigh it, but I think marriage is way too big for this, so, I do not think you can be unhappy in marriage but happy in life. JMO!

This is a very true statement for more people than they realize.

Especially when you talk to people who are married and it's basically because of the need of religion or family needs and requirements.

They are amazing and happy outside but inside they know their marriage is worthless.

Your marriage is a big part of your life generally , problems in life can affect the marriage and vice versa. Can’t think of a situation where I would want or need to compartmentalise one from the other , but then again I have no intention to marry

    I'm unmarried and happy enough
Sure sex would've been nice and a committed relationship with an attractive healthy woman - shrug 🙃 a man can't have it all 🥱💘

I'm pretty sure if you're in an unhappy marriage it's going to spill over into the rest of your life because you know you're married to that person and live with them
