Maybe. It’s possible that she cheated, but it’s also possible that it’s yours. Light traits are recessive so that means even if you are dark you can invisibly carry lighter traits in your dna from many generations back. You may not know that your great great great grandma or something was white, but it’s possible you carry her genes for the recessive lighter traits. If both you and your wife carry recessive genes then there’s a 25% chance for your child to end up with such trait. Also, mutations that affect a persons coloring (for example eye color) are rare, but happen.
