Should we exclude my fiancé’s friend’s rude girlfriend from our wedding?

So we’re getting married in 3 months (yay), but there’s an issue that I’ve noticed about our guest list. I consider myself a good fiancé, and didn’t complain about some of the guest list for people I’m not a fan of- except one. My fiancé has a friend who has a girlfriend that is so unbelievably rude. This friend is one of my fiancés best friends and I told him his friends girlfriend isn’t allowed anywhere near our wedding. His response was good that girls a total cunt.

While I’m glad we agreed, is this something that could impact his friendship? Im not super well versed in weddings. I just noticed we are allowing everyone to bring their so except for his one friend. I’m willing to bend for the sake of his friendship, but this girl has been nothing but mean to me for no reason.

It depends on how much of an ability that girl has to ruin the wedding for you. Your fiance isn't in a position to tell you no. There's no version of reality where you're really asking him.

His friend will feel betrayed because it is a betrayal. That's life. Will he get over it? Probably. But the girls reaction likely will weigh heavy on the scale.

What I'm trying to say is you're trading the potential peace of that one day for a potential source of termoil for the rest of your life.

There's a lot of factors at play but I think if you start from acknowledging these facts then figuring out the rest should feel easier

Oh he doesn’t want her there either she’s a mean girl that never grew out of the high school bs. I’m just worried for my fiancés friendship bc it will be pretty awkward to see everyone there with their so except for him

This is your guys day and your soon to be husband realizes that and is willing to make that sacrifice if it is required I would say. In the words of the great percy sledge
