They're stuck on that and that I'd be missing out on someone younger.
In my opinion, those aren’t things for them to concern themselves with. Whether it’s age, height, weight, etc, these aren’t factors that you need people’s stamp of approval on. If you have personal doubts about the age gap then you should’ve never dated her, especially not to this point where you love and wanna get married. You’re supposed to have her back, not fall into these ageist conversations that I’m sure your friends have tried to have at least once or twice in the past. One time is enough — this time is enough.
