You shouldn't. You give up all human rights by doing so, and women intentionally divorce men to steal their income for the rest of their lives, thanks to broken child support and broken alimony laws. Then they are screwing some other man AND stealing half your income every month.

A man can get married for religious or traditional reasons. He could also do it to please his partner if it’s something she truly values. I personally think it’s easier to be married, especially when kids are involved. You’re possibly creating a more stable environment for your kids, and they’ll grow up learning from watching the relationship their parents have. It also helps set a good example for them..

In yesterday's world, I think men had to marry because they had no other option to bond with the woman they wanted.

In today's world, I believe it's the very same scenario.

Except for first world countries, where men can love the same woman for 5, 10 or 50 years, without having to marry.

Good question. There are advantages and disadvantages to marriage. In the US it is possible that a couple would pay more income tax after marrying. It makes it easier for one partner to manage situations where the other is incapacitated.

Here, where I am in California, they are certainly not the same at all between the genders. Women have the great advantage, and men are just at their mercy most of the time. Where are you?

There are indicia courts consider in deciding whether a relationship is a de facto marriage. Things like cohabitation (typically 2 years or more), mingling finances, having children, etc, etc. But if the court judges a relationship is a de facto marriage than laws around distribution of assets in separation are exactly the same as in a de jure marriage. (Except that, curiously, you can be deemed to have multiple de facto marriages with multiple partners (as well as up to one de jure marriage) for the purposes of financial settlements).

To the men in Australia complain as bitterly has the men here in the US do regarding the financial aspects of divorce in the US? Men get absolutely trashed here on a routine basis when they get divorced. Women tend to get off very easily comparatively speaking. For instance, where I live child support and alimony orders are vigorously enforced against men with threats of jail and seizures of property. Women who receive the same orders and they are few and far between enjoy a lack of enforcement that is well known and winked at for the most part.

A lot of men's organizations are in large part and made up of men who went through the divorce Court torture or went through the false allegations torture. I have had both happen to me and came out the other side comparatively unscathed compared to some of my compatriots.

Well the thing is I just don't engage with them anymore. It's too dangerous and too unpredictable to be enjoyable. The women who trade favors for money are pretty much a sure thing and turn out to be nice folks on top of it. They are a preferable and believe it or not economical alternative to things like traditional dating. As one of them recently pointed out to me when you patronize them you get what you paid for and you also get a guarantee of no trouble. To me, That's worth a lot.
