If you want to get married, what would your ideal wedding look like?

For me, if I ever marry, I will want something relaxed and casual. Not a formal, white wedding.

I got married in April 2024. My wife is Chinese and does not understand American weddings so I planned almost all of the wedding, We got married in my church. It was a formal wedding. I wore a morning coat and she wore a gown handmade in China. We had a string quartet and the choir providing music. There were 150 guests plus 25 musicians. It was a traditional Lutheran ceremony.

The reception was at a country club where I am not a member but I have an ongoing business relationship with the owner. It was a sit down dinner, a few speeches, and a six-piece band for dancing. It was a day that was memorable for all who attended.

It would be a small wedding with only my partner's and my closest loved ones, somewhere secluded in the mountains, and ideally by a lake. And I'd love a boho aesthetic.

Mine wouldn't be naughty until the wedding night, I'd want to wear a really pretty dress and have immaculate makeup, to look beautiful. But I wouldn't want formality. Something like a beach or lake or park wedding would be perfect.

I'd prefer relatively small. For me, about fifty people on my side would be big.

that's plenty scary enough, everyone I know watching me, the thought of it is mildly terrifying. But I'll do it if I fall in love with someone and we decide to marry.

I do have depression and anxiety disorder, but I just get shy in huge groups.

yes I take depression pills. they help, but I generally have a neurotic personality, so I'd be glad once it was over and we could all sit somewhere relaxed and party.

Our wedding was outdoors and more like a party than a wedding. We even had live bands playing. It was perfect for us.

I would like to get married in a beautiful and idyllic place in Paris, outside, and they'll beautiful flowers bright roses and white pillars etc.- Spring/Summer.
