Would you marry someone who proposed to you this quickly?

Question

A woman recently surprised me by asking if I would marry her. She said, "Men like you are rare. Even though many women are interested in you, you don't chase attention, and you're devoted to your faith."

She's religious too, but I'm struggling to trust anyone because I've been cheated on in the past.

Part of me wants to believe people can be sincere. Another part of me is afraid of making the same mistake again.

What would you do in my situation? Would you take a chance, or would you be cautious?

I don't care about the low-intelligence individuals who resort to trolling; let psychologists deal with your insecurity.

Depends on how long I had known him and my feelings for him. But on the other hand I do know mocing fast can work though. I’ve heard many examples of it. For example I know about a couple who went on a first date, they ended up at his place that night and then she never left. She cancelled the lease for her apartment a week later and 6 weeks after the first date they got married. A few months later she was pregnant. They’re still married and have 10 kids. They’re not even religious.
I’ve also heard about couples who’ve been together for many years before moving in, getting married or having kids only to breakup/divorce soon after.

Arranged marriages are usually successful, so I don't have to know someone for more than a month before marrying him. I would need at least 4 dates totaling at least 20 hours, and I would investigate him. I would verify his id. We would exchange financial and medical history, and I would pay to obtain other info such as criminal history, prior divorces and marriages, information about his family, and prior addresses. He would give me power of attorney to obtain his financial and medical records, and I would give him the same.

No. I personally prefer to take my time to get to know someone, and I'd also live with them for a few years before I even consider marriage. That's the smart way to filter someone you might potentially live together with for the rest of life. I never understand how people are able to just get hitched in a few months. I think it's very unintelligent way of going about it and you increase your chances of it ending up in failure, because you don't do your due diligence and find out whether or not they're compatible or not

If you see no other red flags, I would tell her that you are open to the idea of marriage but such a serious commitment requires dating for at least two years before actually getting married. If that announcement makes her run away, then you dodged a bullet.

Depends on how long I knew her and how well I knew her as well than possibly yes , from my experiences with girls’ that came on to me first have been the better relationships over the ones I initiated first , but if you don’t know her that well then you are best not to marry her but definitely date her and see how things go

Marriage carries high financial burdens and risks for men. If you find this woman attractive (marriages are a sexual relationship after all) and of a suitable nature than start exploring a life together with her.

You should not get married and then start exploring a life together. Do the later first. That can be your answer to her. You can just agree that is a mutual objective seeing it has happened fast.

Especially so If you have not identified traits you want in a wife. I would want genuinely nice & caring, co-operative not combatant, and family oriented. If you don't know what you want, you can't know if this woman is suitable for you.

The most important question is how well do you know her to make a potentially very long commitment to someone so quickly, for me it’s important to have a pre established relationship such as a friend to get to know the real them without the pressure of marriage

I've had several women do this and there is no quicker way to drive me away since I assess that. Anyone that does this probably has mental illness that has affected their judgment to a horrendous extent. It will be a cold day in hell before I marry anyone again and particularly not someone who asks me within an hour of meeting me.
