Thoughtful and Creative Gift Ideas for "A Special Someone"

Trying to think of something thoughtful to give to a special someone? Here are some ideas.

Mixed CD

Mixed CDs are fun, personalized gifts that can be given to a significant other, friend, or family member. Add music that you think the person will like, that you know the person likes, that you have an inside joke about, that reminds you of them, etc.

For the cover of the CD case, you could design it yourself with drawings, or keep it simple and write a nice message in permanent marker.

Engraved Message

A sweet gift idea for a significant other is engraving a message on a metal tag. Some ideas for a message: a poem, lyrics, a quote from something, both of your initials (e.g. M & K), the date you met and a heart, or your own personal message.

Guys, you could get creative with it and give it to your girl as a necklace or bracelet. Girls, you could give it to your guy as a key chain.

Wall Art

You could buy a picture frame with a white border and either put in a photo of you and the other person, or create your own art to put inside of it.

Make a Ceramic Plate/Bowl/Mug

If you have one near you, you could visit a pottery studio and make a plate, bowl, or mug and personalize it with paint. This lasting gift can be great for anyone – a parent, a sibling, a friend, etc.

Alternatively, you could always buy solid-colored ceramic dinnerware from a store, and then go ahead and paint or write something.

Real Birch Log Candle Holders

Birch log candle holders make for a cool, earthy gift. They can be bought from Etsy for a pretty cheap price. Fill them in with fresh or flowery scented candles.

Scrapbook

Scrapbooks are very thoughtful gifts. Creating them can be a lot of fun. You could:

• Document you and your significant other’s relationship in chronological order

• Document you and your good friend’s friendship in chronological order

• Make a themed scrapbook and document a trip you went on with a significant other or friend

You can still use your creativity by writing a title/captions/blurbs, picking backgrounds, and arranging the photos. These books come out really nice and professional looking.

Please dont , that has got to be the worst idea i've ever heard , ladies and guys if you are poor and have no money its okay i am sure you're partner understands but if you do then please dont give any of these crappy gifts to your bf/gf its simply too cheap and worthless , i know i wouldn't like it , iam not so emotional about these kind of things and so are most guys , if anything it just shows us that you dont take us seriosuly and want to get away with giving us a good gift so instead you go as cheap as possible , these gifts ar ridiculous and worthless really , so if you are waiting for somekind of a cool from you boyfriend then iam telling you right now. its not gonna happen !! you either invest in something good or dont invest in anything dont give these cheap, half assed gifts.

Its fine if you are poor teenager. But really, grown up people should put more effort and money to make happy the other person, no matter if you are man or a women. If i have ,, that special someone'' i want to gift the best gifts, of course if my budget lets me so. If you want to show how much you love and care there are other ways to show, but dont gift this crap, unless you are sure your partner is romantic type.

Could also create a romantic/meaningful vid too; I done that one for a couple of years already. Probably got an album with over 1000 pictures at this point I used for editing to create these vids now, if not much more. Something provoking, in a loving sense. Something you just get lost in.
