if you would like to get a real good idea. you'll need a measuring tape. a cloth one meant for measuring the boxy. not a metal one meant for construction. with a bare chest measure around your chest under your breasts. this will give you your band size. then for your cup size measure around your chest again only this time measure over the top of your breasts at their fullest point. this measurement wi be larger than the first measurement you took. for every 2 inches larger you increase your cup size. so if your first measurementw was a 34 inches and your second measurement is 40. you would most likely need a 34C bra. a p-1 inch difference = an AA Cup 1-2 inches = a A cup 2-4 inches = a B cup 4-6 inches = a C cup

Go to Victoria's secret or any women's store and have them measure you.
If you want to do it by yourself measure under your breasts around your rib cage. That will give you your band size. Next measure the fullest part around your greats that would be where your nipples are. If its an odd number round up to the next number so its even. Then take your two measurements and the difference between the numbers is your cup size. I. e
1" A cup
2" B cup
3" C cup
4" D cup
5" DD cup
You get fitted by a professional. There's really no other way.
Something to keep in mind: cup sizes are not uniform and change with the band size. If the edges of the cups are not tacked to your sternum, you need a bigger cup. It's very important that the band be the right size (it should fit on the loosest hook when you first buy it) as the majority of the support comes from the band and not the straps.
Do you have a measuring tape? Or a Victoria secret or a la senza around you? It's much easier to walk into those stores and they'll measure you for free ÷) and you'll get more of accurate measure.
Go into a bra store and ask to be fitted. They'll help you.

You get fitted so then you know your size and then try it on and decide from there on how it fits on you.
Go with your mom who is should be a pro picking and wearing comfortable bras. Usually you can get fitted for them at the store too.
I usually just look at them and if they look my size, I try them on. Even knowing my measures and cheking their measures, they seem to vary just like any other clothe.
Get it measured. They allow you to try on different sizes at places like Victoria's Secret
