Boyfriend owes me money and I want to break up with him?

so my boyfriend owes me some money and I wanna break up with him but obviously I want my money back first. he said he would pay me bk today but he cancelled on our hangout...and were having problems so he's I guess hiding from me... and he hasn't made a new date to hangout...how do I get him to pay me back...i don't wanna seem rude and just tell him can I have my money back...

It isn't rude to ask anyone, including your boyfriend, for your money back. Never, ever. It is rude not to give someone their money back. It is rude to put someone in the position to have to ask for their money back. Now, that is rude. Does that make sense?

If he does not call you tonight and tell you when & where to meet him, go to his home tomorrow. Just go over there. And ask him for your money back because you need it.

Then when you feel the time is right, break up with him.

Always remember, it is never a good idea to loan money to anyone. Ever. BUT IF YOU DO...

do so with the expectation that you will not see that money ever again.

Just tell him you can't afford to make it a gift, and you need either the whole sum, or what he can afford immediately, and a commitment about when the rest will follow.

You definitely are not being rude in holding him to an obligation. He is embarrasing you by making you ask repeatedly.

Your worst case is you don't get it back, and you spend a lot more stressed time trying to. I suggest that you give it a fair time (say a couple of weeks), then just write it and him off if you can afford to if he doesn't pay up by then.
