Why are army men jerks?

I'm kinda seeing one , & this isn't my first army guy & it seems like their always assholes to me after the first 2 weeks of talking

My 'recently engaged to' fiancee is in the army, and is an amazing guy, he loves me more than I can write down and I'm not going to ramble on cos I could write for days lol!

But there is a sterotype or just a 'thing' about army guys...there usually categorised as being big headed and loving themselves because there natually going to be big and strong and think there uniform can win any girl over lol...kind of like the high school football team lol...that one guy...yeah we all know.

Truth is sometimes its a show and get close to them they will let there guard down, some army guys are just guys and are total jerks.

Not all army men are assholes. My boyfriend is in the army and he is a gentleman and always treats me with respect. A lot of my army friends can come across as assholes because most of then were cheated on while deployed and think every girl is out to do the same. You just gotta break down those walls and prove them wrong!

have you dated every man in the army? I can say with 99.9% certainty, without having dated an army guy, that they're not all assholes. sorry you've had bad experiences.

they are fighting to protect us. that means something to me, hinting at anything but being an asshole. and when you say this isn't your first one, how many were there before? enough to make the accurate statistical analysis that they are always assholes with a sample that accurately represents the population? doubt it

They can be whatever they want. Why? Because they are ones risking their lives for this country, not you. No offense but that is just how they are trained to be. And if you find them as jerks then why are you dating them? Go out with guys who aren't jerks?

all the army guys I know are cool. My brother and best friend are in the army national guard, neither of them are assholes, I have a good friend that's in the marines and he's a really nice guy, I have a friend that's going into the marines, and he's a nice guy too

Maybe your just seeing the wrong type of army men.Not all of them are mean,this goes for any type of man.
